Why parents choose MediBrain UK

Support that feels personal,
not one-size-fits-all.

Quality education shouldn't depend on your postcode or your budget. That belief has driven everything we do — from the free sessions to the full Medicine Pathway.

Taught by medical students & graduates

Our tutors sat the same exams your child is now facing. They know what examiners want — because they've just been there.

Small groups where everyone is heard

We keep group sizes deliberately small. No hiding at the back, no getting left behind — every student gets seen, challenged and supported.

Progress is tracked from the start

Parents receive regular updates, and students know what to work on next — so you're never in the dark about how your child is doing.

Every session recorded — catch up anytime

Missed a session? Every live class is recorded automatically. Students can rewatch at any time — no content ever lost.

Genuinely affordable — free community service

Private tutors charge £25–£60 an hour. We run free sessions all year and keep our paid courses accessible. Good education shouldn't be a luxury.

From GCSE all the way to medicine

We support students at every stage — Year 10 through to medicine applications. One organisation, a complete academic journey.

Our Method

We didn't copy a tutoring template.
We built this from scratch.

Based on how students actually learn — and what examiners actually reward.

01
Structured Learning Pathway

A clear week-by-week plan — students always know where they are and exactly where they're heading.

02
Active Recall & Spaced Repetition

The memory techniques top medical students use — because re-reading notes is not revision.

03
Exam Technique

We show students how marks are awarded, question by question, so they can turn what they know into better answers.

04
Personalised Feedback

Specific, actionable guidance — not "try harder". Exactly what to improve and precisely how to improve it.

Our Story

Built from a free classroom
during COVID.

When schools closed during the pandemic, our founder Faizan Sharief started delivering free online revision classes in Maths and Science to any student who needed them. No fee, no sign-up — just a belief that students shouldn't fall behind because of circumstances beyond their control.

"I wasn't running a business. I just knew students were falling behind and that I could help. So I did."

— Faizan Sharief, Founder

Those sessions were recognised with the High Sheriff Young Citizen Award. What started as a COVID response has grown into MediBrain UK — free community sessions, structured courses, and a full Medicine Pathway programme, all built on the same belief.

Very easy to understand. The content was explained step by step and clearly. Whenever I struggled with something, he stopped to explain it again and break it down in a way I would be able to understand. He makes learning feel simple, supportive, and confidence-boosting.

My daughter recently started the free Maths sessions and Year 9/10 Chemistry classes, and we're very pleased. The tutor is supportive, approachable, and explains clearly. Sessions are well organised, start on time, and parents are kept informed with reminders, notes, and recordings shared promptly.

Did a one to one session with this guy and found it extremely useful. It gave me more insight on how to approach questions and taught me about useful frameworks. Also the mock MMI was really good and helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses.

Questions Parents Ask

Before you join,
here's the honest version.

Simple answers about free sessions, structured courses, notes, assessments and how we keep parents in the loop.

Yes. The GCSE/KS3 Maths and A-Level Biology community sessions are free to join. They are proper teaching sessions, not a sales call. If a student later needs more structure, we can explain the paid courses, but there is no pressure.

The structured courses are for students who need regular support across the term. They include weekly teaching, small groups, topic notes, assessments, feedback and parent updates.

Yes, for structured courses we provide topic notes linked to what is being taught. The aim is to give students something clear to revise from after the lesson.

We use assessments to see what is improving and what still needs work. Parents receive updates, so you are not left guessing whether your child is keeping up.

Sessions are taught live online, and recordings are available so students can catch up or revisit a topic. Live attendance is still best because students can ask questions as they go.

Yes. Medicine support is separate from the normal GCSE and A-Level courses. It can include UCAT preparation, personal statement support, interview practice and guidance on where to apply.
